On  21 .09. 2024, 10.00 Hrs @ CMC Parade Ground & CMC Auditorium Hall, We celebrated the   "MARITRIO '24 - Engineers Day, World Maritime Day, The Head Way of Marine Engineers Association & Logistics Association”. Our  Chief Guest, C/E. Murugesan Ramasamy, Manager, Manning Office (India), Human Resource-Sea, Eaglestar Marine India Pvt Ltd received a warm welcome and Guard of honour. Then the program started with a Prayer Song and followed by Lighting the Lamp. Our BSc girl cadets performed a wonderful Welcome Dance. The Welcome Address was delivered by our beloved C/E. S. I. Nathan, Chairman, CMC Group of Institutions.Technical Paper Presentation (Engineering, Nautical, Logistics & Shipping) was done by the respective department cadets. Overhauling Video recorded during the competition was played. Cadet. Angel Zephen Sethel of B.Tech 21 introduced the Chief Guest C/E. Murugesan Ramasamy, Manager, Manning Office (India), Human Resource-Sea, Eaglestar Marine India Pvt Ltd.Our beloved Principal, C/E. Kaushik Dasgupta, felicitated the Chief Guest C/E. Murugesan Ramasamy with a Shawl and Memorable Gift.Respected Chief Guest C/E. Murugesan Ramasamy, Manager, Manning Office (India), Human Resource-Sea, Eaglestar Marine India Pvt Ltd delivered a wonderful speech to the cadets regarding the importance of management and the coordination within the team. Cadet. Riya Sharma of B.Tech 22, delivered the Engineers Day Speech stating the contribution of Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya to the country.Mr. M. Jay Sri Ganesh, student of BBA 22, delivered the Speech on World Maritime Day stating the theme, "Navigating the Future: Safety First".Marine Engineers Association Speech was delivered by Cadet. Yash Srivastava (B.Tech 21), the President of Marine Engineers Association.Logistics Association Speech was delivered by Mr. Akshay Kumar T K (MBA 23), the President of Logistics Association.Our honorable Chief Guest C/E. Murugesan Ramasamy distributed the batches to all the office bearers of Marine Engineers Association and Logistics Association followed by the Prize distribution to the event winners by the HOD's. Cadet. Dia Uday Shetty  of B.Tech 22 delivered Vote of  Thanks. Finally the program ended with the National Anthem.
