On, (15.09.2023), at our CMC Auditorium, Engineer's Day was Celebrated by Marine Engineers Association. Our honourable Chief Guest C/E.Edwin Hillary along with his spouse received a warm welcome at our CMC reception. After the High Tea the Celebrations started with a Prayer Song at CMC Auditorium. Welcome Address was delivered by Cdt.Kadam Atharva Rajesh.(B.Tech 21).Then our Cdt.Ragfath Nazekha,President, Marine Engineers Association Addressed the gathering.Speech about the Significance of the Marine Engineers Association was done by our Cdt.Amulya Thomas (B.Tech 22).Introduction of Chief Guest was done by Cdt.Yogesh Rana(B.Tech 22). Then our beloved Principal Captain. Sasitharan Manikkath addressed the gathering. Then our Chief Guest C/E.Edwin Hillary was felicitated with Shawl and Memento by our beloved Principal Captain. Sasitharan Manikkath . Then our honourable Chief Guest C/E.Edwin Hillary delivered a wonderful Engineers Day Speech to the gathering. It was very useful and informative. After that the Batches were distributed to the respective Association Members .Then our C/E.Praveen Kumar, Hod/B.Tech was honoured with Shawl for the successful completion of Extra First Class Marine Engineer examination which was conducted by the Director General of Shipping. Vote of thanks was delivered by our Cdt. Sneha (B.Tech 22). Finally the programme ended with the National Anthem. Regards World Ozone Day (16.09.2023), our Chief Guest and his spouse were requested for the tree Saplings Plantation in front of C Block.
